Oppose Safety Net Cuts to Fund Billionaire Tax Breaks
The Republican-led House Budget Committee has approved a budget resolution that finances trillions in tax cuts for the rich by slashing spending on crucial benefit and insurance programs while increaseing the US debt limit by $4 trillion. The proposed budget would extend the tax cuts passed during the first Trump administration in 2017, thus increasing the deficit by $4.5 trillion.
