Demand Access to Updated COVID Vaccines
On May 20th, top Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials announced changes to the approval process for updated COVID vaccines that would greatly limit access to many Americans. The new guidance is part of Secretary of Heath and Human Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s. effort to remake America’s health policy in his vision. A long time anti-vaccine advocate, Kennedy has made multiple comments questioning the safety of vaccines.
While the COVID vaccine will still be available for adults 65 and older and for children and adults with certain underlying medical conditions, the new guidance calls for new randomized, clinical trials to determine its efficacy. These trials, not deemed necessary by the CDC as recently as 2024, are expensive and time consuming for drug manufacturers, likely delaying vaccine deliveries and raising the cost to consumers.
The FDA and HHS should follow the science, but instead are playing with the health and safety of the American public. Demand your representatives forcefully speak out against this rogue and anti-science vaccine guidance.
