Support Ukraine (UPDATED 11/21)

Updates

November 21, 2025: A leaked 28-point peace plan proposed by the Trump Administration details harsh conditions imposed on Ukraine to end the war. The plan requires Ukraine to cede large portions of territory to Russia, cut their military by more than half, and imposes a permanent ban on joining NATO. Meanwhile, Russia would be allowed to return to the global economy and rejoin the G8. The Trump administration has threatened to cut support for Ukraine if they do not accept the pro-Russia deal by Thanksgiving.

After continually flip-flopping on his position on the war in Ukraine and threatening sanctions on both parties, Trump has arranged to meet for “peace talks” with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin while excluding Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from their negotiations. Earlier negotiations between Trump, Putin, and Zelenskyy failed, with Russia adding demands for more Ukranian territory since invading the sovereign country in 2022. While much of the EU and UN has condemned Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, the Trump administration has instead attacked Zelenskyy, calling him a “dictator” and falsely blaming Ukraine for invading Russia while repeatedly threatening to completely abandon Ukraine and walk away from ceasefire negotiations if Zelenskyy doesn’t agree to Putin’s terms to cede the territory Russia has seized and to end Ukraine’s bid for NATO membership.

Trump’s meeting with Putin—to be held on August 15th on U.S. soil—comes after Trump threatened sanctions against Russia if they did not agree to a ceasefire by August 9th, a deadline which was quickly forgotten. Many have criticized the sidelining of Ukraine in these negotiation talks, with Zelenskyy warning that “Any decisions that are without Ukraine are at the same time decisions against peace”.

Meanwhile, airstrikes continue to escalate in both countries, with Ukrainian capital Kyiv recently experiencing the deadliest Russian drone attack in a year, killing 31 civilians. This comes as many Ukrainian refugees in the US fear deportation to their war-torn homes after the Trump administration’s escalating attacks on non-nationals. While the bipartisan “Ukrainian Adjustment Act” (H.R. 3104) seeks to protect these refugees and allow them a pathway to citizenship, the actions of Trump and his administration undermine Ukrainians’ sovereignty over their own territory. Demand your representatives support a sovereign Ukraine, and stop Trump’s gratification of Putin’s demands.

I’m calling in support of Ukraine and to ask [REP/SEN NAME] to oppose the Trump administration’s pro-Russia peace plan. No peace deal should bow to Putin’s agenda or require Ukraine to make unreasonable concessions.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
