Defend Reproductive Rights

The Trump administration and congressional Republicans continue to systematically attack Americans’ reproductive health and bodily autonomy. In Trump’s first 100 days in office, his administration has acted to bar doctors from providing life-saving abortions in emergencies, slashed funding to community family planning clinics, and censored scientific information about reproductive health. FDA head Marty Kakary has threatened to review the safety of the abortion drug mifepristone, citing junk science published by a conservative think tank.

Meanwhile, in Congress, Republicans’ legislative agenda further threatens reproductive rights. H.R. 722 would grant legal rights to fertilized eggs, embryos, and fetuses, effectively banning abortion nationwide, even in states where voters chose to protect it. Anti-choice representatives have also introduced a bill to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act), a federal law that criminalizes attempts to prevent individuals from safely entering clinics to receive or provide reproductive healthcare, a move that would “embolden extremists and endanger lives.” And, of course, the recently passed One Big Beautiful Act slashes Planned Parenthood funding and will eventually kick millions of people off of their health insurance.

These attacks on reproductive healthcare have already needlessly endangered and derailed lives, driven up the maternal mortality rate, and diminished civil liberties. Demand that your representatives vocally oppose and vote against these attacks on our reproductive freedoms.
