August 9, 2025: The DOJ has escalated attacks against Trump’s political rivals by launching baseless investigations into NY Attorney General Letitia James and US Senator Adam Schiff. FBI Director Patel also approved a request by Texas Governor Abbott to help search and arrest state legislators who left the state in protest of unconstitutional redistricting.
July 21, 2025: According to Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dick Durbin (D-IL), the FBI assigned hundreds of FBI agents to “flag” mentions of Trump in documents related to the Epstein case. In a letter to Bondi, Patel, and Bongino, Durbin asks for an explanation on this assignment as well as the discrepancies between the DOJ’s memo and their previously-promised release of the case files.
Under the leadership of Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and deputies Todd Blanche, Dan Bongino, and Emil Bove, the Department of Justice has worked less to seek justice on behalf of the American people and more to protect the personal interests of Trump and his allies and shield them from accountability and prosecution.

The DOJ has dropped charges against former NYC mayor Eric Adams and Trump’s co-defendants in the classified documents criminal case.

Bondi has fired the director of the Department of Ethics Office, at least three Jan. 6 prosecutors, and 20 DOJ prosecutors who assisted Special Counsel Jack Smith’s criminal investigation of Trump.

The DOJ has opened up criminal investigations into two of Trump’s political rivals, former FBI director James Comey and former CIA director John Brennan.

Bondi, Blanche, and Bove have fired and discredited a whistleblower who provided information about the officials encouraging DOJ lawyers to defy court orders.

The DOJ has fired Maurene Comey, one of the Jeffrey Epstein prosecutors, and has contradicted their own statements regarding the release of the Epstein files.
The purpose of the DOJ is to ensure the safety and security of Americans by upholding the law and holding to account those who break it. Instead, the Trump administration’s DOJ has weaponized the agency to seek revenge on political enemies and protect themselves and their allies. Congress must hold these department officials accountable and demand they serve the American people instead of protecting the wealthy from legitimate prosecution.
